Generally, I would suggest that following a model of indigenous peoples across the world, especially the Native American groups, would not only lead to a world in balance, but is actually the ONLY way that humanity can be sustainable. The example set by Native Americans of how to interact with the earth can, I believe, be applied on a larger scale and made to integrate into modern society, in a way that keeps our infrastructure thriving while also being sustainable.

But the mechanism by which heat is produced causes internal damage to the delicate molecular structures of vitamins and phytonutrients. Minerals are largely unaffected, however, so you’ll still get the same magnesium, calcium and zinc in microwaved foods as you would in non-microwaved foods, but the all-important B vitamins, anthocyanins, flavonoids and other nutritional elements are easily destroyed by microwave ovens.

With a nearly two-to-one approval ratio, Connecticut House Bill 5389, which would legalize at the state level small amounts of medical marijuana for patients in need, has been passed by the Connecticut State House of Representatives. And if passed by the State Senate, Governor Dannel Malloy has indicated he will sign H.B. 5389 into law, which would make Connecticut the 17th U.S. state to legalize medical marijuana.
