Fluoride: Killing Your Child’s Brain… Softly

One of the most surprising absurdities of our times is the continuing practice of fluoridating our water supply and supplementing dental and oral healthcare products with this toxic by-product of the aluminum industry. The evidence demonstrating the harmfulness of this is beyond abundant, and the case against fluoride continues to grow. Across the United States the movement against this wholesale poisoning of our people and the creatures downstream also continues to grow, in tandem it seems with even more research studies and scientific evidence further proving that fluoride is a grave public health issue.

The history and known dangers of fluoridation is easy to find and easy to digest online, however, each new study warrants media, or alternative media, attention because for some odd reason mass public opinion on this issue is critically slow to tip in favor of non-fluoridation.

Recently, even more evidence has been gathered and distributed by researchers, this time showing how fluoride severely damages the neurological development of the most vulnerable and important members of our society, our children. Consider this, an opening statement from an article by the Harvard School of Public Health:

“In a meta-analysis, researchers from Harvard School of Public Health (HSPH) and China Medical University in Shenyang for the first time combined 27 studies and found strong indications that fluoride may adversely affect cognitive development in children.” [Source]

The article goes on to attribute the reduction and loss of IQ and impeded cognitive development to exposure to fluoride at an early age:

“They then analyzed possible associations with IQ measures in more than 8,000 children of school age; all but one study suggested that high fluoride content in water may negatively affect cognitive development.

The average loss in IQ was reported as a standardized weighted mean difference of 0.45, which would be approximately equivalent to seven IQ points for commonly used IQ scores with a standard deviation of 15.*  Some studies suggested that even slightly increased fluoride exposure could be toxic to the brain. Thus, children in high-fluoride areas had significantly lower IQ scores than those who lived in low-fluoride areas. The children studied were up to 14 years of age, but the investigators speculate that any toxic effect on brain development may have happened earlier, and that the brain may not be fully capable of compensating for the toxicity.

“Fluoride seems to fit in with lead, mercury, and other poisons that cause chemical brain drain,” Grandjean says. “The effect of each toxicant may seem small, but the combined damage on a population scale can be serious, especially because the brain power of the next generation is crucial to all of us.” [Source]

In the actual study cited in this article, the case is made that fluoridation of children begins even before birth as this toxin is passed to fetuses during pregnancy:

“Fluoride readily crosses the placenta (Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry 2003). Fluoride exposure to the developing brain, which is much more susceptible to injury caused by toxicants than is the mature brain, may possibly lead to permanent damage (Grandjean and Landrigan 2006).” [Source]

According to this research, fluoride attacks the developing brains of our most precious resource, our children, before they even have a chance to breath air for the first time. Given the rapidly changing social climate in the United States, where nearly 70 million Americans are already taking mind-altering drugs, and the nature of socialized crime is evolving into an alarming pack trend, it is way past time that we search for the genuine roots of mental illness in our society.

Some extremely important questions to consider after reviewing evidence of this nature are:

  • Is fluoride contributing to the rise in childhood diseases like autism?
  • How does fluoridation interact with and compound the damage being done to children by other environmental toxins like BPA, pharmaceuticals which are contaminating our water supply, toxic food ingredients
  • Is fluoride contributing to shocking and continual rise in cancer?
  • Does fluoride contribute to the overall deterioration of mental health?
  • Why is it so difficult to convince local governments to abandon fluoridation in favor of caution? What unseen  political and economic influences are at play here?
  • How much additional fluoride are children ingesting in products such as drinks, foods and medicines?
  • Why does the pharmaceutical industry use fluoride in so many medicines, including antibiotics?

Professional and official disagreement on the dangers and supposed benefits of fluoridation has been ongoing for decades, and so far the majority decision has largely been to err on the side of fluoridation for some baffling reason.

This could perhaps be due to a greater elitist conspiracy to poison and ‘dumb down’ the population as many suspect and support with authentic research, or it may also be in part due to the natural inertia of the human mind that when once deceived prefers to remain deceived so as not to disrupt the cognitive stability it derives from working in familiar patterns. Perhaps we just have a collective arrogance about us that forbids us to admit when we’re wrong, or even more frighteningly, perhaps we’re already a society that has been so severely affected by fluoridation that we no longer have the intelligence to resolve this crisis.

Whatever the case, it’s a moot point because while we mull over the issue, debating this or that, the mass poisoning of our children continues.

Here are some basic steps that you can take to reduce you and your children’s intake of this poison:

  • Drink filtered water from a filter such as the Berkey Water Filter with fluoride attachments.
  • Switch to fluoride free toothpaste.
  • Reduce your dependency on pharmaceuticals by learning to care for your mental and physical health, and immunity in natural ways.
  • Stop consuming processed beverages such as soda, beer and juices.
  • Stop consuming junk processed foods which are manufactured with fluoridated water.
  • Participate in the movement to end water fluoridation and make a difference.
  • Consider trying a fluoride detox to remove residual toxicity. Visit the resources here, here, and here.

Please share this information far and wide, and focus your intention and will power on the hopes of a future where we are smart enough to first err on the side of caution, and we remove this clearly toxic substance from our food and water supply.

When some one searches for his necessary thing, so heshe desires to be available that in detail, thus that thing is maintained over here. eaeedaebdcge

This is not a bad article but I think the author could have expanded how fluoride effects the brain. Alex could have emphasized the link to “9 Shocking Dangers of Fluoride Exposure”

Even there the effects are sketchy, that author Dr. Group could have explained the significance of the pineal gland, that it regulates a very large range of activities (it produces serotonin and melatonin).

Or don’t use toothpaste at all, as glycerin in most brands of it is a thick wax that seals in bacteria below your gumline and leads to gum shrinkage, and deep pockets forming between the tooth and the gums.

All toothpastes that are commercially available have some crap or other in that insults the tissue of your mouth one way or another, from citric acid (why use acid that dissolves enamel while scrubbing your teeth, it is a piss-take by the manufacturers; it also exacerbates lichen planus), to sarsaparilla, also known as bloodroot, and one other name I can’t recall just now (which can cause lichen planus to erupt badly, in about 1% of the population that is susceptible to it), sodium laureth sulphate, to silicon (can exacerbate lichen planus), to mint flavour, which can also exacerbate lichen planus, which causes ulceration of the mouth and loss of tissue, ultimately leading to loss of teeth, and of course fluoride, not to mention the potentially tumour-forming titanium dioxide they put in to paint your remaining tartar and plaque white.

Toothpaste manufacturers do not know the meaning of ‘sensitive’ or gentle toothpaste (must be a conspiracy ha ha, just kidding, they are just thick).

I sterilize my toothbrush by bubbling ozone over it in a glass of water each day, and when I used to use toothpaste with glycerin in, there was always a thick band of really heavy wax coming off the toothbrush every day that made a ring lining the top of the glass. That stuff coats your teeth and stops your teeth remineralizing properly, and seals in bad bacteria under your gumline, not good at all. You need raw milk or even horsetail tea to remineralize your teeth too, or other stuff like fermented cod liver oil, grass fed organic butter, and anything else with good amounts of calcium in, like organic eggs, or tahini from sesame seeds

The blotting toothbrushes that I use now clean my teeth vastly more effectively than using toothpaste ever did, and I don’t scrub away my gums any more. I don’t use the totally destructive electric toothbrushes that I purchased any more, nor my water pick, as that too is something like they use in meat plants to strip flesh from bones, and no matter how carefully you use it, that still starts to happen, again, extremely damaging to your gums.

I clean the inside of my mouth using microfibre cloths (boiling them to sterilize them regularly), going to the back of the throat, all around the inside of the cheeks and the roof and floor of the mouth, scrubbing the top of my tongue till it is nice and pink, and underneath, and that gets my my mouth totally spotless, much much better than my crumby tongue scrapers ever did, which I have now stopped using in favour of microfibre cloths.

For cleaning my teeth, I no longer use any toothpaste at all, and my teeth and breath are absolutely immaculate. I use blotting toothbrushes, which you dab very gently rather than scrub with, and they draw all the plaque from your teeth and the gumline. The Indians have been using that technique for thousands of years with ‘brushes’ made from chewed twigs, and they don’t scrub, but dab at the teeth and gumline.

The brushes made especially for ‘blotting’ from modern materials are very much like ordinary toothbrushes, but their bristles are much finer and draw up plaque and other debris in a gentle capillary motion, which you then rinse off the brush and shake or sip the water from to make them as dry as possible before working on another section of your teeth, or you can simply sip the debris from the brush and spit it out into a glass before you work on the next section. The smaller the brush the better for this, so you can work the brush into every angle. You can buy those brushes on the internet that are especially made for ‘blotting’.

  • I use Tom’s of Maine, you can get it at a Trader Joes or Whole Foods type store. Fluoride is a scam, it causes dental fluorisis, not preventing tooth decay. It poisons your brain and weakens your immune system. Avoid this harmful additive at all costs! Get it out of your drinking water too! Most bottled waters have fluoride in it, and almost all tap water does. Get reverse osmosis water filtration or your own home unit.

How can I effectively clean my teeth without taking risk to expose myself to toothpaste containing fluoride?

    • Buy fluoride free toothpaste, or use something like baking soda.
