Dylan Charles with Judith Kwoba on Nightflight

Waking Times

Recently I had the honor of being a guest on Nightflight with Judith Kwoba for the third time. Judith is such an inspiring woman, living in Germany and watching the craziness in our world from a totally different seat than me. She’s incredibly informed and awake, yet always calm, smiling, and easy going, which I admire greatly.

She originally asked me on to discuss self-sabotage, and I’ve come to deepen my understanding of what this means to me. Self-sabotage, or self-limiting behavior, is the result of fight or flight programming repeatedly triggered until one becomes addicted to the physical, emotional, and neuro-chemical feeling one derives from being in this heightened state of tension and anxiousness. It is when one’s emotional state one’s energy is too low to receive inspiration and focus, and is instead distracted and chronically avoiding. A solution can be found in understanding your unique emotional patterns and recognizing how such chronic negativity has become like a drug, then treat it as an addiction, striving for higher, more powerful states of consciousness, one day at a time.

In the world of truth seekers and freedom advocates, the daily return to contemplation of the dark aspects and bad news in our world serves to unconsciously give them unlimited access to their drug of choice, the negative feelings of being in a constant state of fear and concern.

We also discussed relationships a bit, looking at how co-dependency affects a long-term romance, and how the emotional traumas from one’s past return again and again in the form of false needs and desires, blocking one’s ability to present themselves confidently and with authenticity.

So far this year I’ve been largely focused on some new endeavors, but have been working one-on-one with coaching clients throughout the year.
