Smart Meter and Electromagnetic Radiation: Another Health Crisis Of Our Time

You are not legally required to have a smart meter in any region, contrary to what certain agencies may be telling you, yet they are forced upon the population by those who regulate power utility companies.

Based upon a study of 10 autistic cases and 10 normal cases, the pregnant mothers who gave birth to autistic children slept in a location in which microwave radiation was 20.7x HIGHER, on average, than pregnant mothers who gave birth to non-autistic children.

In May of 2011, the World Health Organization official recognized that wireless radiation such as emitted by “smart meters” is a possible carcinogen. After decades of corporately-funded, biased research being held up as “industry-standard”, there are hundreds of independent peer-reviewed scientific studies now showing there is a clear health hazard with technology emitting wireless radiation in the range that “smart meters” do. Meanwhile, tens of thousands of people with a “smart meter” installed, have contracted illness, insomnia, rashes, headaches, and worse. And many have been forced to leave their homes entirely, due to health effects. What’s more, in apartment buildings where 30+ “smart meters” are installed in a single electrical room, the dangers are even higher. There have been no long-term health studies done on this high level of Electromagnetic Radiation.

No Privacy

Many smart meters being installed contain a second wireless transceiver that is specifically intended to ‘provide a built-in communications pathway into the home for data presentation, load control and demand response’ (manufacturer’s literature). The purpose of this is to monitor and control the new generation of ‘smart appliances’ that are already being sold to unsuspecting customers. These appliances include virtually EVERY electronic device in the home or office.

Neurosurgeon and researcher Dr. Leif Salford has conducted many studies on radio frequency radiation and its effects on the brain. Dr. Salford called the potential implications of some of his research “terrifying.” Some of the most concerning conclusions result from the fact that the weakest exposure levels to wireless radiation caused the greatest effect in causing the blood brain barrier to leak.

An argument is sometimes made (not necessarily accurately) to those who express concern about radiation from “smart” meters, Wi Fi, etc, that the radiation emitted from these devices is at such a low level that the public needn’t worry about it. However Dr. Salford’s studies showed opening up of the blood brain barrier from very low levels of radiation. In fact, Cindy Sage and Dr. David Carpenter write in a 2008 paper (Public Health Implications of Wireless Technologies) it was “the weakest exposure level [which] showed the greatest effect in opening up the BBB [blood brain barrier].”

This is in addition to the radiation we’re exposed to from cell phone towers, cell phones, power lines, and scanners at the airport.

No wonder the cancer rate in america is 1 in 3 and 500,000+ people die per year of cancer.

    • richard says:

How to get rid of the meters?

    • gintaras says:

Having worked for years with oncologist, I can tell you with absolute certainty that the cancer rate has everything to do with a poor, nutrient deficient (vitamins and antioxidants) diet and probably virtually nothing with smart meters.

      • debunkeroo says:

gintaras – Having worked for years with an oncologist, you must already know that smart meters have only been around in the states for a few years, so it’s unlikely that you would have seen any cases yet, correct?

Did you even read the article? Yes, a good diet rich in vitamins and antioxidants help protect from all of the pollution that surrounds us, including the EMF pollution. But just because you’ve worked with an oncologist for years doesn’t make you an expert in what does and doesn’t cause cancer. Hell, your boss doesn’t even know. He’s probably still using chemo chemicals developed in the 1960′s which have been PROVEN ineffective, but still they pump the red death into the veins of unsuspecting patients in the name of treatment.

Ooops…I got a little irritated there. But, seriously, you might want to open up your mind a little bit. Just for a while – it won’t hurt.

      • Chris says:

we are electromagnetic beings – how can you assert that smart meters do not have an effect on us? of course they do. Any exposure to an electromagnetic field will have affect us. Just like an MRI scan will affect the flow of blood within the body. Subject an electromagnetic being to a strong magnetic field and the iron in the blood will align with the direction of the field. All these modern technologies whilst on the face of things are there to improve our lifestyles (not life!) actually are damaging us at a cellular and DNA level.
Open your mind you a while, you might shock and surprise yourself.

In a world of problems and solutions, few ideas spur both immediate hope and skepticism as the idea of free energy, and, on the brink of ecological disaster, nothing may be of greater importance to the human race.
