Video – Tens of thousands of indigenous people in Malaysia were coerced into moving to resettlement areas for the construction of three mega dams in Malaysia. Before displacement, dam builders made many promises about life in the resettlement areas – better schools, better housing and farmlands, free electricity and adequate monetary compensation. But once the families were relocated, they discovered that promises are often broken.
