Sunspot Cycles and the Global Shift in Consciousness

Many people are feeling confused and uncertain about the state of our world. As we look at the nature of the various societal structures around us and how they function today, we quickly realize that instability is a term that can so easily describe them. Whether it be the natural flow of where they are headed or the population induced direction due to unrest, our economic, governmental, political, environmental and healthcare models, etc., are clearly in a state of decline and transition as the population begins to wake up to the true nature of each structure.

This awakening is being driven by a shift in Consciousness, cosmic factors such as cosmic rays and solar activity, and by a soul decision each one of us is making out of a greater realization that we have outgrown our current experience that we are co-creating here on earth. This can be seen and felt by how little sense the world seems to make these days and by feeling the need to change it. That change is coming from within and is tough for many of us to ignore.

We have the science, ancient knowledge and spiritual confirmations, to see that what is taking place here is the mass awakening of the entire population that will cause unprecedented change on the planet. It’s not a matter of if this is happening, but of when we are willing to accept and embrace the reality. Millions are already engaged in this shift and each day, as more and more become aware of what is happening, we open ourselves up to a world of possibility (see Figure 1).

Humanity is not just experiencing unrest in certain areas of the world. As we look across each continent, we see very clear signs that people are not only becoming unhappy with their current state of living, but they are also doing something about it in unprecedented numbers. Whilst the idea of protesting is not new, the scale at which it is being done in every continent, and the solutions that are breaking through the suppression, are causing people to begin to see that something huge is taking place on the earth.

The Scientific View

To understand how solar activity can affect us, we must understand what quantum physics shows us about our world and what it is made up of.

“Quantum physics discovered that physical atoms are vortices of energy that are constantly vibrating. So every material structure in the Universe including you and me radiates a unique energy signature.”
Bruce H. Lipton, PhD.

What this means is that we are all made up of energy. In fact, everything in our Universe is made of energy and is not actually physical at its core. Einstein recognized that everything in our Universe, including us, is connected at all times. When you affect one thing in the Universe, everything else is affected in some way. This can be understood through non-locality or quantum entanglement.

Furthermore, quantum physics shows us that Consciousness directly creates what we see in our reality. One of the most famous experiments that explores this concept is called The Double Slit Experiment. It essentially illustrates that everything in our Universe is all complete potentiality until it is defined by Consciousness viewing it. This means that as we define how our world should be and should look, we are actually helping to co-create reality together.

Thousands of years of data illustrate that within solar cycles there are periods where humanity is at great unrest and times change. The specific period where most change is seen to happen is called the solar maximum. This is the period in which the Sun’s activity is at its peak. Russian scientist Alexander Chizhevsky has provided years of data that clearly illustrates how these solar cycles and cosmic rays effect human Consciousness (see Figure 2).

Figure 2: Graph to illustrate the relationship between sunspots and world events.

When Chizhevsky’s work was continued by Prof. Raymond Wheeler, from the University of Kansas, it was confirmed that Chizhevsky’s model continued to produce accurate results. During the solar maximum in 1990, the war in Iraq had begun. During the solar maximum of 2001, the World Trade Centre towers were taken down on 9/11 (see Figure 3).

Figure 3: Top image: Chizhevsky’s model continues to produce accurate results. Bottom image: Current cycle sunspot number prediction.

Considering the cycle we are currently in, what might we expect to see? For this we can look into Chizhevsky’s realisation of 4 main periods within each sunspot cycle. Within each 11-year cycle, Chizhevsky recognised 3 years of minimum excitability, 2 years of growth in excitability, 3 years of maximum excitability, and 3 years of a decline in excitability. Interestingly, we see specific characteristics for each period:

Minimum Excitability
Duration: 3 years
Characteristics: Lack of unity in the masses, Indifference in the masses, tolerance in the masses.
Major historical events: 5%

Growth in Excitability
Duration: 2 years
Characteristics: Originating of new ideas, push to centralize on idea, masses begin to unite.
Major historical events: 20%

Maximum Excitability
Duration: 3 years
Characteristics: Discovery of solutions, masses more impatient with status quo, masses unite, new leaders appear.
Major historical events: 60%

Decline in Excitability
Duration: 3 years
Characteristics: Masses push for final changes, things begin to calm, peace often is prominent.
Major historical events: 15%

We are currently in the 3rd period of maximum excitability. It is therefore not surprising that we have been seeing social action such as the Turkish, Egyptian and Brazilian uprisings during the year 2013.

Ancient Knowledge

Ancient cultures foretold this great shift in Consciousness many, many years ago. Both the Mayans & Egyptians talked of a shifting of World Ages that would take place beginning around the year 2012. This is why such a great amount of attention was put towards December 21st 2012. It wasn’t to say that on that day, something would happen instantly, but rather, it was the hinge point of a greater change that would take place over several years.

The Mayans and Egyptians used astrology to determine these cycles and it is clear their knowledge was correct given that we can verify their astrological explanations through advanced technology available today. They essentially stated that every 26,000 years or so, the earth moves into a new World Age. Our previous World Age, which ended in late 2012, was characterized by separation, scarcity, survivalism and materialism. This is why the world that we saw, and are still seeing, was so much based around every man for himself, greed, power, destruction and so on. It was the state of mind humanity was in during that period and it provided us with a series of powerful lessons for us to move forward.

Now we have stepped into the beginning of a new World Age. The Mayans and Egyptians call it ‘The Aquarian Age.’ This age is characterized by peace, unity, community, and harmony. Millions of people are already awakening from mind to Consciousness, making the old obsolete, which is why we are seeing the crumbling and collapsing of our old world. Protests, unrest, lack of peace, instability in our world structures, the rise of new solutions, and feelings from within that it is time for things to change, are all signs of our old world collapsing.

Spiritual View

From a spiritual view, we can see clear links between what the Mayans and science is saying, and what is happening in our world now. Many in the spiritual community claim that a shift in Consciousness is taking place. Much of this wisdom comes from an inner knowing that follows a feeling that something isn’t quite right with our world. A spiritual understanding of what is happening is realizing that we have an awareness, beyond the physical body and the mind, and that it is driving feelings of change.

One of the great transformations we are experiencing is the process of re-awakening or re-connecting to our Higher Self or true self (Consciousness). This Higher Self can be seen as who we truly are. Up until this point, human ego has been at the forefront of driving our world. Ideas of who we think we are, separation, competition, greed, power and survivalism have been sitting in the driver’s seat for centuries and have created a world that reflects these ideals. It is important to realize that these are all illusions. As we move out of our ego, and false sense of self, and into Conscious Awareness we move into our Heart Chakra Centre. This facilitates an inner knowing and true understanding of who we are. Our perception, priorities, beliefs, and understandings change as we no longer have a distorted view of self and the world based upon social conditioning.

Are you saying that it’s the sunspots effecting us?

You got it wrong, then. It’s the other way around.
It’s US, WE, HUMANS, effecting the sunspots.

It’s our Consciousness that’s above the sunspots.

There is always a mad denominator for the collective consciousness: Take the media for instance that are good at “brain-washing” people: http://www.usatoday.com

  • “quantum physics shows …”
Max Planke did not resolve the ultraviolet catastrophe.
Quantum physics is predicated upon misrepresenting the “gas constant” as a physical constant when it is in fact a derived constant of proportionality. There is a different gas constant for every element.
You are spouting DOGMA. Comprehension is not understanding.
Understanding is mere perception. Comprehension is a rational process.
What you are told of both chemistry and physics is the propaganda of the ruling banksters who promote disinformation regarding both chemistry and physics.
The purported electron structure theory of the atom consisting of shells and subshells is predicated upon the process of heating elements to a gaseous state and then measuring the electrical voltages necessary to strip off electrons from the exited “atoms”.
Quantum Physics is a prime example of “social conditioning” which you decry. Thermodynamics is another example. Newton’s “laws” are another.
Basic morality, knowing right from wrong, requires a rational discriminatory faculty. Knowing true from false is a requirement of morality. The geometry of Euclid is how a mind is trained to reason. It is the antithesis of superstitious “understanding”. It requires comprehension. The geometry of euclid has not been taught in U.S. schools since 1955.

I want to correct the 26,000 year cycle. That is the total of 12 zodiac cycles, not just one. A world age is approximately 2,160 years long. We are in a transition from the age of pisces to the age of aquarius. So, from separation to group work and synthesis.
This is from the Ageless Wisdom teachings of H.P. Blavatsky, Alice A. Bailey and Benjamin Creme among others.

In a way I agree with this view, but it’s also true that trying to fix the world can be a delusion. It can be a way of trying to avoid death (transformation), rather than passing through it, which involves loss. I think maybe you underestimate just how upending these times can be. Sometimes you just need to let go, and that’s a big job in itself. Down the road, maybe you’ll have the energy for creation again. But all of us are in different parts of our life cycles. I’m sure some younger people are ready to get going.

When I was facing a kind of death/rebirth earlier in my life, or the end of my old way of living, I memorized a quote by an anarchist named Bakunin that really captured it for me. I can’t find the quote online (surprising!), but I think it was this:

“We have only one plan – general destruction. We want a national revolution of the peasants. We will take no part in the working out of schemes to better the conditions of life; we consider as fruitless solely theoretical work. We consider destruction to be such an enormous and difficult task, that we must devote all of our powers to it, and we do not wish to deceive ourselves with the dream that we will have enough strength or knowledge for creation.”

To me, this was about letting go, and focusing on tearing down the old, or letting my life fall apart, instead of resisting it or trying to figure out how to save it or replace it. I didn’t know how to save it, and I didn’t feel I had the strength to reuild it. I was facing a great storm. This approach turned out well, and when my old life finally collapsed, the new one appeared and began to grow, and somehow I had much new energy. Yet I had also died – I was a new person in a new world.

I think for some of us, just managing the fall is a full-time job. And that’s okay, because I think if you believe you need to have the strength to rebuild life, you may feel fearful of letting go.

    “Come to the edge.
    We can’t. We’re afraid.
    Come to the edge.
    We can’t. We will fall!
    Come to the edge.
    And they came.
    And he pushed them.
    And they flew.”
    — Guillaume Apollinaire

meter, where can i go to learn more about what you have presented here? website, etc… thank you.

      • Meter

idahoan, I don’t have a current website up. I’ve read things similar to this here and there, but I don’t know of a particular teaching. I was just speaking from my experience.

In general, I’m a believer in falling as a kind of flying and adventure, because I’ve seen the magic of that. Rather than always trying to fix things, you allow them and yourself to fall, to let go of forms and attachments. You just be, rather than reacting to save things. At the same time, you dream of your next creation. You may start building it in some ways even as your older life is allowed to fall, sort of like in nature.

It’s actually quite a blissful proccess, even in the midst of upheaval. The key is keeping your attention on the here and now, rather than fretting in the future. So The Power Of Now by Eckhart Tolle is a related book – he’s a wonderful teacher of being.

This is basically a taoist philosophy as well. You might check out the Tao Te Ching. One copy is here…
