10 Qualities Every Human Being Should Have

“I decided, very early on, just to accept life unconditionally; I never expected it to do anything special for me, yet I seemed to accomplish far more than I had ever hoped. Most of the time it just happened to me without my ever seeking it.” ~ Audrey Hepburn

If you ask me, there are certain qualities each and every human being should have. Qualities that have the power to help each and every one of us to connect with our own selves and the world around us at a deeper level. Crafting better lives for ourselves and those around us and making the world a happier and a lot brighter place to be in. And these qualities are:

1. Faith

Faith in yourself and all that you are. Faith in your abilities. Faith in life and faith in the Infinite intelligence that created us all.

“He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” ~ Matthew 17:20

2. Courage

Courage to create the life you deep down inside know that you deserve to live. Courage to go where most people don’t dare to go. Courage to be the person you were born to be.

Courage is the most important of all the virtues, because without courage you can’t practice any other virtue consistently. You can practice any virtue erratically, but nothing consistently without courage.”Maya Angelou

3. Love

Love for yourself. Love for your friends. Love for your family. Love for your work. Love for your pets. Love for your planet and love fotr your life. Love for those who love you, and love for those who don’t.

“The heart that loves is forever young.” ~ Greek proverb

4. Deep Sense of Connection

A feeling of belonging and a deep sense of connection to all things, all people and all places. Recognizing yourself in everything and everyone. Understanding the ONEness of all things.

“If I go into the place in myself that is love, and you go into the place in yourself that is love, we are together in love. Then you and I are truly in love, the state of being love. That’s the entrance to Oneness.” ~ Ram Dass

5. Imagination

The ability to inspire and feel inspired. The capacity to use your mind to create new worlds and discover new realms. To go where no one has ever gone before and craft things that nobody has ever crafted before.

“Logic will get you from A to Z; imagination will get you everywhere.” ~ Albert Einstein

6. Denial of all fearful things

The ability to deny all things that originate from fear. To ignore, reject and show complete indifference towards those things that cause you to feel separate from your fellow human being, separate from the world around you, separate from the things you dreams and desires, and separate from God itself.

“You have but two emotions, fear and love, one you made and one was given you.” ~ A Course In Miracles

7. Thankfulness

An attitude of gratitude. Praising and giving thanks for the things that are and for the things that aren’t. For the things you already have, for the life you are now living and for the many blessings life sent and will continue to send your way.

“What if you gave someone a gift, and they neglected to thank you for it – would you be likely to give them another? Life is the same way. In order to attract more of the blessings that life has to offer, you must truly appreciate what you already have.” ~ Ralph Marston

8. Open-mindedness

A clean and open mind that welcomes everything and everyone. Without the need to judge, label and condemn the things, people and experiences that are not aligned with who you are, with what you stand for and with what you yourself believe in.

“We need to give each other the space to grow, to be ourselves, to exercise our diversity. We need to give each other space so that we may both give and receive such beautiful things as ideas, openness, dignity, joy, healing, and inclusion.” ~ Max de Pree

9. Trust

Trust in the power and wisdom of life. Trust that you are never given more than you can handle. Trust in yourself, trust in your  inner power and wisdom and trust in your ability to manifest the things you want to manifest.

“When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, ‘I used everything you gave me’.” ~ Erma Bombeck

10. Detachment

The strength to let go of all things that no longer serve you. All places and all people that no longer need or want to be in your life. The ability to let go of your attachment to  limitations, fears, doubts and insecurities. Taking your focus away from who you now are and placing it on to who you want to become. The strength to let the old you “die”, to let the old you go, so that the new you can be born.

“Until man lets go of that which he is now conscious of being, he will not become that which he desires to be.” ~ Neville Goddard, Your Faith is Your Fortune

And by simply embracing these 10 qualities your whole life will improve and  you will discover yourself to be a greater person by far than you ever dreamed yourself to be. What do you say? Do you think you can embrace these qualities and make them part of your everyday life?

With all my love,

  • Nice article.

I would add compassion and acceptance (of self; therefore of everyone).

I would also not deal with fear in the way you suggest for that is saying that half the world does not exist – instead I would acknowledge and bless the dark/fear and thank it for its presence is still needed to show us that we are still not in balance internally. Once we embrace and love ALL parts of the world, there is no longer need for the dark side, since love flows again freely.

I don’t mean spend time dwelling and stressing about it, simply bring into consciousness (which is what we are being forced to see now), and then rather than re-ACT it, observe, bless and forgive and then see the world as whole and totally illuminated. By understanding our true power and shedding light into the dark it can no longer be dark. By re-enacting the dark and fear, it continues to exist and thrive to remind us that it only exists by our enaction. I watched a video by Teal that explains this much better than I just tried to do!

  • [ Smiles ] Those are all great qualities to have. Unfortunately, lots of people have trouble with number 9 — trust.

  • We the Sheeple

“10 Qualities Every Human Being Should Have”
We already have these qualities, but many of them are buried under much conditioned garbage that prevent us from being aware that they even exist.

“The ability to deny all things that originate from fear.”
In other words…run away or suppress that which we fear – which is a misperception. By deploying numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 9, and 10, we have the ability to deeply examine the sources of fear and once their illusions are understood for what they are, their energies lessen and lessen. It is important to embrace our fears because they hold the keys to our inner peace.

Number 11 may be Forgiveness since lacking forgiveness for ourselves perpetuates the inner dialog that keeps us in limitation, doubt, and self-deprication that undermines our ability to fully experience the rest of this worthy list.
