Why Are We so Different from the Other Species? Are humans Alien to This Planet?

There are U.F.O sightings and E.T. encounters all over the world every day but despite this fact most of us are still on the fence in regards to whether or not aliens actually do exist. Alien crop circles incessantly appear in farmer’s fields all over the world, especially in England and this ‘could’ be an attempt by aliens to contact us. The evidence is insubstantial as far as we know and therefore not enough to prove the existence of Alien visitors to Earth, however, I have another question I wish to pose: Are Humans Alien? Where do humans come from?

Did the Human Race Originate On Another Planet?

Evidence found in ancient ruins and texts from every corner of the globe, from places such as Peru, India, Easter Island, China and Bolivia clearly indicates the presence of an advanced race. A Human-like race of aliens that visited Earth in flying machines and were treated like gods as can be seen from the many paintings and pictures from ancient times. These drawings and paintings often depict humans descending to earth in ships and can be seen all over the world. Who were these beings? Were they us? Is part of the human race Alien? Where did our space-faring ships go if we originally came from another planet?

Unanswered Questions

There is a plethora of unanswered questions regarding aliens and for every theory that is put forward, there are doubts and an irritating lack of evidence. The same applies to the birth of humanity. Evolved from monkeys? There are doubts about the theory of evolution too. However, there is one other theory which I shall put to you in just a moment and there is scientific evidence to support this theory. So please join me for this exploration as we search for answers.

Are humans alien due to the Panspermia process?

Where Do Humans Come from? The Panspermia Theory

The word Panspermia is derived from the greek words ‘pan’ (all) and ‘spermia’ (seeds), and basically means ‘seeds everywhere.’

The Panspermia theory states that life on Earth and other planets could be seeded by microbial life that has traveled through space inside comets, after being blasted off the surface of an inhabited planet by other comets and meteorites.

The three most popular types of panspermia are:

• Directed Panspermia: This is the intentional seeding of other planets by advanced Alien civilizations or even the human race in the future.
• Ballistic Panspermia: Rocks expelled from a planet’s surface by impacts from comets and meteorites serve as methods of transport for biological material from one planet to another within the same solar system.
• Lithopanspermia: Rocks expelled from the surface of an inhabited planet carry biological matter from one solar system to another inside a comet that impacts upon a planet, thus seeding life upon that planet.

History of the Panspermia Theory

The Panspermia theory first appeared in the writings of Benoît de Maillet, a French nobleman, Diplomat and natural historian. He believed that life on Earth was seeded by germs from space falling into our oceans.

The theory was then rekindled in the nineteenth century by the scientists Jöns Jacob Berzelius (1779–1848), Lord Kelvin (William Thomson) (1824–1907) andHermann von Helmholtz (1821–1894). This is what Lord Kelvin had to say on the theory of panspermia:

“[W]e must regard it as probable in the highest degree that there are countless seed-bearing meteoric stones moving about through space. If at the present instance no life existed upon this Earth, one such stone falling upon it might, by what we blindly call natural causes, lead to its becoming covered with vegetation.”

Panspermia Evidence

In 2001 evidence to support the panspermia theory was presented by a group of British and Indian researchers headed by Chandra Wickramasinghe, at the 46th annual meeting of the International Society for Optical Engineering (SPIE) in San Diego. During their research they had managed to gather clumps of living cells from the stratosphere where there is no oxygen, nitrogen, or carbon dioxide.

So this really does beg the question: Are humans alien to this planet?

Proof That Bacteria Can Survive in Space

In order for the Panspermia theory to hold any water, it needed to be shown that Bacteria could survive the harsh environment of deep space. Fortunately, there is concrete evidence that Bacteria ‘can’ and ‘has’ survived deep space travel and long term exposure to the most unforgiving environment we know of, space.

Bacteria Found in Meteorite estimated to 4.5 Billion Years Old

On May 11, 2001 Geologist Bruno D’Argenio and molecular biologist Giuseppe Geraci from the University of Naples announced an extraordinary discovery to the world. They had discovered extraterrestrial bacteria deep inside a meteorite estimated to be 4.5 billion years old. The two scientists asserted that the Bacteria which had DNA unlike any on Earth had been resurrected in a culture medium. The Bacteria survived despite the rock being sterilized at high temperature and washed with alcohol meaning it was extremely hardy indeed.

Meteorite Explodes Above Canada and Reveals More Evidence

About 12 years ago a meteorite exploded above Canada and the fragments that were recovered from it revealed some interesting evidence that supports the Panspermia theory. A mix of organic compounds which included amino acids and monocarboxylic acids, both essential to the evolution of the first simple life forms on Earth were found in the rock fragments. This lends yet more evidence to the theory that life on Earth and indeed humanity originated out there, in space!

Earth Microbes on the Moon

On April 17, 1967 the the U.S. spacecraft, Surveyor 3 landed on the moon safely to begin the unmanned surveyor program sent to explore the surface of the Moon. This was a great triumph for mankind and received much attention from the world, however, there was one aspect of the mission which didn’t receive as much attention as it perhaps should have. In 1969, nearly 2 and a half years after the landing, the Apollo 12 crew recovered and brought back to Earth several components of the surveyor 3 craft including the camera in which Bacteria was found. 50-100 organisms survived launch, space vacuum, 3 years of radiation exposure, deep-freeze at an average temperature of only 20 degrees above absolute zero, and no nutrient, water or energy source.

More than enough evidence to show that Bacteria can survive space and therefore travel from one planet to the other through Panspermia.

The Anatomy of A Comet

Has Earth Seeded the Other Planets in Our Solar System Through the Process of Panspermia?

So let’s assume then that we are alien to planet Earth or to be more exact, all life is alien to Earth and that we actually originated somewhere else, perhaps in this solar system, or one thousands of light years away. This means that somewhere out there in the vastness of space, there are planets far older than ours where life began and has possibly ended due to the passing of millions of years. If just one planet sends out seeds in this way, intentional or not, it means that there could very well be many more planets populated with the same or similar species as we see on Earth today along with humanoids. There is natural selection of course, depending on the environment so we wouldn’t be exactly alike but still, it is fascinating to comprehend, is it not? A chain of planets constantly seeding other planets with new life much like the reproductive system of plants and trees.

The Meteorite That Killed the Dinosaurs Could Have Initiated Panspermia

The 10 kilometre-wide asteroid that struck Earth and could have wiped out the dinosaurs may well have initiated the seeding of other planets and moons throughout our solar system and others. This is fascinating because we know that bacteria can survive within meteorites and can survive space travel. Therefore, the impact of the Chicxulub Asteroid would have sent millions of rocks from Earth hurtling into space, with bacteria to seed where-ever the rocks landed.

This is a report from the New Scientist on the matter:

“The team calculated how much of that stuff could have ended up on the bodies in the solar system thought most likely to be hospitable to life: Saturn’s moon Enceladus and Jupiter’s moon Europa, both of which are thought to have subsurface oceans of liquid water. Under certain conditions, as many as 300 million individual rocks could have ended up on Europa, and 500 on Enceladus, they calculated. Even more could have ended up on the moon and Mars.

A handful of rocks could even have made it to planets around other stars. Once such could be Gliese 581, a red dwarf 20 light years away with a super-Earth orbiting at the outer edge of its habitable zone, where water could be liquid. [The researchers] calculated that about 1000 rocks from the Chicxulub impact could have reached that far in about a million years, meaning any life that made it would have had 64 million years to develop – or die off.”

Are Humans Originally from Mars?

According to many scientists, all life on Earth may have originated on Mars and been carried here through Panspermia on meteorites and comets.

Several Meteorites have been found on Earth which have been shown to have originated on Mars and Scientists have even found traces of life within the rocks, meaning that it is conceivable that life on Earth could have originally been Martian.

Conclusion: Are Humans Alien in Origin?

From the evidence presented above as well as the wealth of information on the subject in abundance all over the internet, I would say yes, we are in fact alien in origin.

Just think it though. If Panspermia is actually happening, it essentially means that the Universe is reproducing! It means that we are not alone in this infinitely huge Universe. It means that there may be other ‘humans’ out there living on those planets that are in the ‘habitable zones’ around stars.

It means that the paintings and drawings of Humans coming down from space may actually be humans that were seeded on other planets, and that were advanced enough to come here and teach us. We may have even been intentionally seeded by those civilizations and then later visited and taught, which is why so many amazing structures were built back then despite the clear lack of technology. Sadly, they may have stopped coming because we are now too dangerous. On a more positive note, perhaps they are waiting and leaving us be because they know we will develop and progress and when we do they will be waiting.

Are humans alien in origin? Maybe humans are alien to this planet but then again, in order to prove that we would need to prove that the theory of evolution is correct. That’s a question for another day.

Until then, let’s just imagine Panspermia – A wonderful possibility!
