Extremely Important: Fluoride Treatment – 5 Ways to Detox Fluoride

Lisa Garber
Waking Times

It should be outrageous to think that the very water we drink is poisoned—but the water actually is. Although calcium fluoride is found naturally in underground and ocean water, the sodium fluoride added to the public water supply is virtually toxic, a wolf in the sheep’s garb of improved dental health. (The West Virginia University Rural Health Research Center says that fluoride doesn’t even prevent cavities; vitamin D and omega-3 fatty acids are better allies for that.) Even the federal government is calling for lower levels of fluoride in public water after a Harvard study confirmed fluoride’s lowers IQ. So needless to say, it is extremely important to know of fluoride treatment methods.

In the wake of even more horrifying findings like fluoride’s link to the cardiovascular and cancer epidemic (causing at least 10,000 cancer deaths since 1977), it’s imperative that we learn how to defend ourselves against systematic and casual envenoming of our water. Here are 5 methods for fluoride treamtnet – ways to detoxify your body of fluoride.

Fluoride Treatment – Iodine

While too much iodine is linked to hypothyroidism, so is too little. The good thing about iodine is that it increases urine irrigation of sodium fluoride as calcium fluoride. Although it does take some calcium with it (calling for an adjustment in diet or calcium supplementation), iodine and lecithin both remove fluoride from the body.

Tamarind

Though originally from Africa, tamarind is a staple in Ayurvedic medicine that can be made into a tea or tincture that pushes fluoride out in urine.

Liver Cleanse

Because the liver is responsible for clearing toxins out of the body, it makes sense to go through a liver cleanse to detox from fluoride. You can do a standard cleanse at home over a week or so; just be sure to undergo a safe and trustworthy cleanse per instructions. If the cleanse is absolutely not for you (although you can read up on 5 reasons you should do it today), you can cleanse your liver daily with these liver cleansing foods. Cleansing the liver is essential for fluoride treatment.

Boron

The next time you’re shopping for laundry detergent, scoop up a box of Borox, which contains boron. Pour 1/32 of a teaspoon (up to ¼ teaspoon) into a liter of distilled water and sip it throughout the day. (Yes, this is safe.) Not only will the box last forever, you can use it to do some eco-friendly cleaning around the house, too.

Dry Saunas

Intense but safe sweating from heat as well as exercise brings out sodium fluoride from fatty tissues. Just be sure to keep hydrating—with distilled water—and to protect your kidneys with chickweed tea.

As with any kind of detox, use caution and go at the pace that feels good for you and your body. In addition to detoxing the fluoride out, you can also limit the amount of fluoride coming in by investing in a water system that filters out fluoride, such as a reverse osmosis water system. As you incorporate any fluoride treatment and the fluoride leaves your system, you’ll experience overall health improvements, and you’ll never look at the faucet the same way again.

Just finished my first liver flush as described by Andreas Moritz – this is a powerful self healing method that leads to fundamental health on many levels. You would not believe how good you feel afterword – try it, it is awesome.

I read an article about 10 years ago, written by a chemical engineer, who said it was impossible to get fluoride out of water due to the molecules of both, being the exact same size. I’m pretty sure, also, that he said distilling it made it worse. Keep in mind, this was written a decade ago. But, is there any validity to it?

    • mothman777 says:

Before distilling my city water, the ppm are between 550-750 ppm, depending on what particular junk is polluting it at the time, as the water is 8 times recycled sewage unfortunately, though the fluoride in my water is supposed to be 1.5 ppm according to official readings of my area, and that is not from fluoride intentionally being added, but from industrial waste and medication and fluoride finishes being washed off clothing etc.

There should be 1.5 ppm fluoride in anyway, but after I distill it, less than 1 ppm shows up on my meter, so distilling maybe gets rid of some at least, though fluoride is in the same region of the periodic table as hydrogen and oxygen and should really be as ‘removable’ as water itself, so why 1.5 ppm is not remaining, but only <1ppm including all other pollutants, after distillation I do not know.

However, a process called fractional distillation is the way to go to actually take fluoride out of drinking water, and that sort of equipment is available at not too expensive cost from any good laboratory equipment supplier. Though of course when you take a shower you absorb the equivalent of having drunk 7-8 glasses of tap water anyway, so whole house filtration is the way to go, but unless you spend several thousand dollars, you won't get fluoride out that way either. I just make do with the 3 canisters of chemicals one for the whole house thing and hope for the best.

Distillation is the only sure way to remove everything nasty found in water. Double distilled is the purest water, that is why scientist and researchers use it for mixing solutions, because they know no other elements or compounds will interfere with their results.

    • BlueyBlogger says:

The best way to remove fluoride from drinking and cooking water is via Activated Zeolite, which converts sodium fluoride to sodium which is urinated out.
It also works on the other types of fluoride additives, no matter from where it is sourced.

      • mothman777 says:

Correction to my earlier comment; the zeolite that is in the whole house systems for $300-500 will remove most of the fluoride; it is not necessary to spend several thousand dollars on a water purification system to get that.

Just thinking, about those shower filters that take out 85% or so fluoride, it should be possible to just pour distilled water (that has been processed already through a whole house filtration system containing zeolite) through one of those zeolite shower filters in addition a few times to get most of the remaining fluoride out, and they are around 30 dollars or so. That would be a cheaper way to go than buying a fractional distillation unit.

With the $300-500 whole house multi-cartridge systems, brand new filters will get rid of most of the fluoride when zeolite is included in them (there are different types of filter compounds for different preferences.

But as they start to get overloaded after several months, before replacement becomes necessary, more and more fluoride will start coming through again, so another purification level before drinking will be necessitated. I still distil mine in addition anyway, but will start to experiment with a zeolite based shower head shower too, rather than pursue buying a fractional distillation unit at this time.

In regards to drinking distilled water, although a little is fine, one must realize that through the process of distillation, the water molecule actually becomes somewhat unstable and is highly attracted to certain minerals that the body needs meaning if you consume too much, you may be stripping your body of many needed minerals it needs to function so just be careful with how much you consume. Purified water is a better route to go over the long term.

    • Greg M. says:

Thats is actually a false belief pushed by those who know nothing about the human digestive tract. When a person drinks distilled water, once that water hits your mouth and enters your stomach is ceases to be “distilled water”.

On a empty stomach: The distilled water picks up all the loose compounds in your mouth (undigested food stuff, bacteria, plaque, saliva, enzymes, etc) and when its in the stomach it interacts with the stomach acid and other digestive enzymes, thus being “normal water” that gets processed the same way, minus the dumping of nasty chemicals found in tap water into your body to deal with.

During eating a meal: If you drink distilled water with a meal, the water will bind and absorb the elements of the food in your mouth and stomach until it becomes “neutral” , hence making it essentially “mineral water”. These minerals and water soluble vitamins will be easily available to your body to digest and will be delivered far more easily throughout the system.

Be extremely careful about INGESTING BORON! One of my close friend was taking mild doses of boron he bought on line and ended up with kidney, liver and heart failure. Almost died. It took the hospital three weeks to drain all the Boron from his system. He is alive but very weak recovering for kidney and the liver. So please BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL of taking BORON. The best advise so far I agree with is the dry sauna that will certainly help detoxify a great many ills from one’s body. If you really wanna feel great and have the will power then try BIKARM HOT YOGA that is taught at 108-110 degree heated room for 90 minutes. Nothing in this planet come close this experience. But Bikram hot yoga is not for the light hearted ones. Any kind of sweating for at least 20 minutes or more would be a great source of detoxification. Try drinking Tamrind juice for deflouridation as well.

From everything I have read Flouride in the water promotes many health issues. We had a reverse-osmosis water system installed in our home to remove the flouride and many of the other chemicals. The water was delicious and easy to drink. We have recently moved to Delaware and the water here is disgusing. I can definately feel the difference drinking this horrible water. Unfortunately we left our water filter system in our home in Iowa. I am now searching for another water system to install here. At least my body is getting high value nutrition to battle some of the toxic element in the water…www.RainforestBerry.com
