Wake Up Earthlings – Save Your Planet

In today’s society, there are numerous environmental concerns; so many that one doesn’t know how we will ever overcome them. Climate change, over population, fuel emissions, nuclear waste, oil spills, pollution, overflowing landfills, toxic waste, debris in the oceans, chemicals and pesticides – an environment that thru man’s actions has changed a once harmonic natural habitat into one where our own existence is threatened.
Is the disregard for the Earth’s survival just an oversight of an ignorant species or is there a mindset that there are plenty of other planets in space if this one gets squandered? Might the humans on Earth behave differently if they thought for a second that this the only Earth that we have?
While we campaign for the future of other species such as the polar bears who are threatened by melting ice caps, perhaps our greatest concern should be on our own survival. How much more drilling, geo-engineering, and toxic waste can this over populated planet absorb, and the real question is why are humans pushing Earth to the very brink of disaster, as if the planet itself is disposable like all the other material items we cast off after a single use in today’s disposable society?
The image of a polar bear holding up a sign to ‘Save the Humans’ is ironically symbolic since we have been campaigning to stop the melting of ice caps caused by human emissions of greenhouse gases, which is predicted to endanger the bears. According to a series of U.S. government studies, two-thirds of the world’s polar bears could disappear by 2050 as global warming continues to melt the Arctic’s sea ice. But the Polar bears are the tip of the iceberg so to speak. In fact, the Earth is experiencing a frightening extinction crisis of plants and animals. It is estimated that as many as 30 to 50 percent of all species are possibly heading toward extinction by mid-century, and, unlike in previous cases where it was caused by asteroid strikes, volcanic eruptions or other natural events, this current crisis is almost entirely caused by humans.
The image of a sick Earth depicts the ongoing issue of the continuing demise of the planet and the negative effects humans have on an intricate eco-system. While our society seems to be making technological progress, to what extent are we contributing to our own possible extinction with wanton environmental destruction, war, and disregard for sustaining the Earth and it’s diverse biology?
The toxic environment on earth is caused partly by the extensive use of chemicals and toxins in almost every aspect of life, and is now suspected to be taking an alarming toll on humans as well, and now, one in six children nationwide has a neural-developmental disability, including things like autism and ADD, suspected to be caused by toxins that cross into the placenta.
Earth is shown as being sick and the doctor describe the illness as “having humans” much like an exterminator will inform a home owner they have “termites”. The correlation is obvious, the humans are praying on the host, depleting natural resources that thrive if not misused.
It is nearly impossible to imagine what exists outside our Earth, but modern scientific equipment can view more today than ever before, and we have an understanding of the vastness of the universes. The question many ponder now as we emerge into a space faring race is, will we meet our neighbors out there? And if we did, what would they think of us?
“The truth is that aliens are indeed visiting us and that they recognize us as a primitive, tribal, and war like species bent on endless warfare and our own destruction. We here on earth have developed technologies in nuclear physics, rocketry and radar that allow us boundless opportunities. But we have yet to evolve into an understanding that we are all earthlings and need to use this technology for the greater good and our own survival.
Candidly, other races observing earthlings would undoubtedly see us as a threat to their neighborhood.”
Knowledge suppressed for decades on the greater cosmos leads us to a false conclusion about outer space, with a mindset that all of space is open like the wild west once was. While we still debate the conclusive proof of the existence of life outside our Earth, the probabilities support with certainty that there is indeed other life out there. If that is the case, it may not be as easy to find another home planet as we many think and the Polar Bears are right, we need to save the humans and save the Earth, as our place in the universe.
Thinking of polar bears reminds us of how dangerous the damage we do to earth can be. To Remedy a “sick earth” we need to change the direction we are headed as we are making not only the animals and plants extinct, but perhaps even ourselves. In order to thrive on the planet, we need to eliminate waste, use clean energy (which can be free to all citizens), eat better food and change our stressful chaotic lifestyles. The Wake Up call for Earth is clear– if the Earth itself is sick, then it is no surprise that it also affects all of Earth’s inhabitants.
Maybe looking at the rest of the universe will help us Wake Up to the new reality, that we have to live in peace, that dangerous weapons and dirty energy need to be abandoned and that we need to open our eyes to see the real picture. Human salvation will be based on their ability to discern the truth and not be manipulated by the TV and other news. It might be time for the human family to take over their own fate and find a cure for the sickness on the planet. It is time for a new consciousness, run by the majority instead of a select few.
What comes next for the earthlings and their home planet earth? Will they save or destroy the planet? Will they heal themselves, overthrow the negative control and corrupt minds who govern and suppress them as foretold in scripture? Visitors to Earth or those observing from distant galaxies most certainly wait and ponder what we will do next.
