The Spiritual Awakening of Prisoners

People are coming together to unite their loving consciousness in order to heal the electromagnetic field of the earth.  Whether coming from Buddhists or native peoples or those doing transcendental meditation or people only now becoming aware of the astounding effects of their own hearts, this united effort has been increasing.

The energy generated by lovehelps as well to protect the field from chaotic and low energy generated by terror, anger, and despair, which are more conducive to producing harm.  So, at moments of great stress to this field – as 9/11 caused – it becomes even more important for there to be large numbers of people concentrating their heart energy to counter that effect.

  • No group should be left out, and prisoners are ones that haven’t yet been mentioned.  Prisoners are separated from their families and all those they love.  They often come from backgrounds of injustice and feel anger, hatred, depression, despair.  Many are in prison for life.  They have been shut off from having purpose and a means to contribute, their personal power stripped away.  More than most, they could benefit by feeling peace and love inside themselves.  And in doing so, in helping themselves, they would be able to have a major effect on what is happening to the whole world.

John Hagelin, the renowned quantum physicist who has been involved in this for some time, explains that the greatest effect occurs when those meditating in this way, are in close proximity because that sets up a resonance that is greatly multiplied.  Native peoples have a formula for such activities parallels what Hagelin is saying.

Thich Nhat Hahn, a Buddhist priest, describes the impact we can have in different words.

I like to use the example of a small boat crossing the Gulf of Siam. In Vietnam, there are many people, called boat people, who leave the country in small boats. Often the boats are caught in rough seas or storms, the people may panic, and boats may sink. But if even one person aboard can remain calm, lucid, knowing what to do and what not to do, he or she can help the boat survive. His or her expression – face, voice – communicates clarity and calmness, and people have trust in that person. They will listen to what he or she says. One such person can save the lives of many.

Our world is something like a small boat. Compared with the cosmos, our planet is a very small boat. We are about to panic because our situation is no better than the situation of the small boat in the sea. You know that we have more than 50,000 nuclear weapons. Humankind has become a very dangerous species. We need people who can sit still and be able to smile, who can walk peacefully. We need people like that in order to save us. Mahayana Buddhism says that you are that person, that each of you is that person.

It is clear we can achieve world peace.

Gregg Braden shows in this striking video, how fast things can change.  When the feelings in the heart are connect to what is desired, experiencing it as already there, good happens incredibly rapidly.

Masuru Emoto’s studies with water has been affecting and giving hope to an enormous number of people, who are stunned to learn that loving thoughts are capable of changing the structure of water.  The potential significance is immense since people, animals, plants and the earth itself are 70% percent water.  And water is, as Mae-Wan Ho, a genetic scientist helping create a new paradigm connecting physics and biology, says, the messenger for everything.

“…. life based on water is quantum electrodynamic through and through. Water provides the substrate, the fuel and generator that animate life. It is the source of free electrons and protons that wire up organisms making and breaking complex molecules for organisms to develop and grow, to multiply and to do all that makes life passionate and exciting. At the same time, it provides the perfect medium for molecules to perform their best at all time and to intercommunicate with one another. Living water thereby acts as perfect messenger between molecules and delivers the message of the global coherent whole ….”

Using heart and love to effect water and to strengthen the electromagnetic field of the earth is also healing of those who participate, moving their consciousness and hearts toward greater peace and love.  And that is where prisoners come in, who are themselves suffering greatly from being cut off from the world and deprived of opportunities to contribute and to love.

And yet, there are many reasons that prisoners could be a major force in bringing about world peace.  This is true because prisoners are living together in large numbers, in close proximity to each other, and they have endless time every day, during which they could generate the needed concentration and energy.  What would they envision, what feelings would they sent out?

Prisoners miss their families and love them.  They long for them.  They would easily envision being with their families and feel that love with tremendous force.  They, more than anyone else in the world, would feel the emotions around freedom and love.  In doing so, they can help bring freedom and love (peace) to all of mankind.

Though most prisoners have never meditated before, it is hard to imagine a group which would be more determined in dedicating themselves to a skill that would help them become free.  There is safety built into that freedom. Only as prisoners develop love in their hearts, is the universe deeply affected.  This is a power for good.  Negative feelings have 1/500th the power of love.  And as prisoners begin to feel love, they would not only be changing themselves but affecting everyone around them as well, including guards.

We know that as we feel love, we become peaceful inside, and now we understand this can happen and is happening already, outside.

Authorities may be pleased to have prisoners meditating, but even if they are not, the state has no power over what prisoners think, whether inside their cells at night, focusing loving thought in synchrony with others there, or as they all eat their meals, eat bite experienced as bringing in justice, or as they shoot a basketball, each throw transformed into a energetically-laced ceremonial act – everyone seeing and feeling freedom and love with each loft of the ball into the air.

It is poetic justice that the state, in having locked people away in huge numbers and given them nothing to do, has created an ideal situation in terms of multiplying the feelings of prisoners, so that their shared intent adds to the power of their numbers, and their proximity ensures great resonance, rippling out to affect the electromagnetic field of the earth, and to protect humanity from harm.  No one is better placed than the prisoners of the world, whether in prisons in the US, at Guantanamo, at Bagram, or in any prisons on earth, to bring peace and free the world.

Who could possibly be more fearless and unperturbed in the face of false attacks and injustices than prisoners? Having already learned how to cope with injustice, could prisoners, whose inner selves and energy would be steadier than most during a crises, have a more steadying of the electromagnetic field than others?

Who could possibly bring more deeply held or stronger feelings of love and freedom than prisoners, and thus be more powerful in bringing good to the whole world?  And they would again have a purpose in life – to help save the world.
