Former Police Detective Demolishes the War on Drugs

Waking Times

The war on drugs is one of the greatest social catastrophes. Not only does it not decrease demand for drugs, but it fuels corruption, crime, gangsterism and terrorism across many continents, and waste a mind-boggling amount of money and societal resources.

In this video, former police officer and LEAP (Law Enforcement Against Prohibition) co-founder, Peter Christ argues for a new approach in the war on drugs, decriminalization. Noting that the policy of prohibition is an attempt for the law to enforce morality when the law should instead be utilized to protect people from harmful people, Mr. Christ obliterates the arguments for the war on drugs.

Can we win the War on Drugs?

Please visit LEAP for more information on ending prohibition.
