DNA Analysis Reveals: Paracas Elongated Skulls Were Not Human

Video – In 1928, a Peruvian archaeologist Julio Tello discovered a massive and elaborate graveyard in Paracas, the desert peninsula in the Pisco Province on the south coast of Peru. Over 300 skulls were discovered and are some of the largest elongated skulls to have been found in the world.

Brien Foerster, assistant director of the Paracas History Museum and co-author of The Enigma of Cranial Deformation: Elongated Skulls of the Ancients announced that DNA tests performed on the aforementioned skulls revealed that they were not of human origins.
